PVC (polyvinyl chloride): It has high toughness, is not easy to burn, and is easy to heat seal. It can be sealed with a sealing machine and high-frequency edge sealing. PVC sheets can be divided into environmentally friendly and non environmentally friendly types, and can be made into various vacuum formed packaging products such as transparent, colored, anti-static, gold-plated, and flocking. Its characteristics include high transparency, good surface gloss, few crystal points, small water marks, wide application, strong impact resistance, and easy molding. PVC material is widely used for outer packaging of toys, food, electronic products, pharmaceuticals, electrical appliances, gifts, cosmetics, stationery and other products. However, PVC combustion produces chlorine gas, which has a certain impact on the environment.

PET (polyester): It has good toughness, high strength, high transparency, can be recycled and reused, is easy to burn, and does not produce harmful gases during combustion, making it an environmentally friendly material. PET material is gradually phasing out PVC, but its price is relatively high and it is suitable for making high-end vacuum formed products. The vacuum formed shells in European and American countries generally require the use of PET material. But its high melting point poses certain difficulties for high-frequency packaging.
PP (polypropylene): made from polypropylene resin as the main raw material, with various process colorants, toughening agents, and brightening agents added. PP sheet has the characteristics of non-toxic, odorless, hygienic, high mechanical strength, and good barrier properties, and can be used for packaging in industries such as industry, agriculture, and fruits. PP material is also suitable for the packaging of high cold resistant frozen food, such as ice cream boxes, dumplings boxes, soup dumplings boxes, etc.
PS (polystyrene): Low density, poor toughness, easy to burn, and produces styrene gas (a harmful gas) during combustion. Therefore, it is generally used in the production of various industrial vacuum formed trays. PS sheet is a new type of environmentally friendly packaging material developed in recent years. With its excellent thermoforming performance, good environmental performance, and hygiene performance, it is widely used in fields such as medicine, food, toys, electronics, etc.
PETG: In order to solve the problem of high melting point of PET material, people composite a layer of PVC film on the surface of PET, named PETG. PETG material has excellent transparency and smoothness, good display effect, and can be recycled. When burned, it will not produce harmful substances that harm the environment. But the price is higher, mainly used for electronics, food, toys, color box windows, collar holders, shoe packaging, etc.

Mold making: Make molds according to product shape and size requirements. Common mold types include gypsum molds, electroplated copper molds, and aluminum molds. Gypsum molds have low cost and are suitable for sampling and small-scale production; Electroplated copper molds have a smooth and durable surface, with moderate cost, and are the most commonly used production molds; Aluminum molds have high precision, fast heat dissipation, and high product accuracy, but they are expensive and suitable for large-scale production or products with extremely high precision requirements.
